"I scream for reading!"

PARP (Parents As Reading Partners) began at GWF on April 1st and will run through April 16th.  For those 2 weeks we are asking each child to read at home for a minimum of 15 minutes each night. If all our students read, we will reach our goal of 75,000 minutes of reading!  Wow!  We will have a chart near the front entrance of the school to track our progress.

You can help us out by reading to or with your child during these 2 weeks.  Have your child color and cut out an ice cream scoop for every 15 minutes they read and return it to their teacher.  All scoops will be on display throughout our building.  Students will receive a prize for every 7 scoops they bring in!
