Below is a copy of the FREE AND REDUCED LUNCH Letter that was sent home with each student on January 9, 2009.
Dear Parents/Guardians: With the recession, people loosing jobs, and time being cut back in jobs, everyone is hurting. I am not sure that everyone knows that you can apply for free or reduced lunch all year long. I have decided to send out a copy of the application again. If you have already applied, then you do not have to do so again. Not having to worry about lunch money will make things easier. The State is cutting back on aid to schools. Since our aid is driven by the amount of free and reduced students, it is in our best interests to help as many students as possible. Please give us a chance to help.
