Holland Patent High School Students Earn Second Marking Period Recognition for Citizenship and Academic Excellence

As the second marking period made its mark, Holland Patent High School students showed  they’ve got the right answers in academics and citizenship. 

Principals Russ Stevener and Kelly Healey presented awards to students in grades 9–12 on Feb. 5. These awards honored students who embodied the school’s mission as civic-minded critical thinkers and problem-solvers prepared for the demands of college and careers in an ever-changing world. 

The Academic All Stars celebrated students who have excelled in their coursework and shown outstanding dedication to learning. Citizenship Awards honored students who contribute positively to the school community, demonstrating leadership and a commitment to helping others. Students were nominated by their teachers for these distinctions. 

“We are honored to recognize these students. Their hard work, dedication and growth during this marking period reflect not only academic excellence but the character and values that make our school community thrive,” said Stevener. 

Holland Patent Central School District is proud of all students who received awards and applauds their dedication to fostering a positive learning environment. These recognitions not only celebrate student success but also inspire students to strive for excellence.
