Lessons Beyond the Classroom
To kick off October, a group of Juniors traveled to Syracuse Stage to see Come From Away, the inspiring true story of the small town of Gander, Newfoundland. In the wake of the 9/11 airspace shutdown, thousands of stranded travelers from around the world found themselves welcomed with extraordinary kindness by complete strangers.
The performance was a moving reminder of the compassion, generosity, and resilience that can emerge during challenging times.
A huge thank you to Mrs. Alcaraz, Mr. Bateson, Mrs. Carroll, and Ms. Morgan for creating a memorable learning experience for their students.
