Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Sara Lamanna as Holland Patent High School’s new assistant principal

Holland Patent High School is welcoming a new leader to its roundtable, as Mrs. Sara Lamanna steps into her new role as assistant principal.

Lamanna comes from a family of educators and brings over 15 years of experience in education. Lamanna started as an one-on-one aide, then returned to school to earn her master’s degree in school counseling. She spent six years as a school counselor, providing support to students and families.

In her previous district, Lamanna served on multiple committees, including a schoolwide attendance initiative focused on improving attendance and identifying barriers that prevent students from coming to school. Her work emphasized a holistic approach to student success.

“Holland Patent is a tight-knit community with high standards for education,” Lamanna said. “I value school communities that prioritize meaningful support for students and families, and Holland Patent’s commitment to serving students aligns with my passion for helping people.”

Superintendent of Schools Dr. Richard welcomed her to the district, noting her strong foundation in student support and collaborative leadership. “Mrs. Lamanna’s experience, her commitment to helping students, and her ability to build meaningful relationships make her an excellent addition to our high school leadership team,” Dr. Richard said.

Lamanna started Sept. 14 and looks forward to continuing to meet students, staff, and families as the school year continues.
