Showcasing Student Communication

Showcasing Student Communication

Wednesday, April 22, marked the first annual Seal of Biliteracy Day at OHM BOCES.

Our Spanish and ASL students delivered impressive 20-minute presentations in their target language to a panel of judges. In addition to presenting, students thoughtfully responded to questions about their projects, demonstrating both their language proficiency and depth of understanding.

Ms. Morgan and Mrs. Murray are incredibly proud of their students. Presenting to a panel of unfamiliar judges is no easy task, and they rose to the challenge with confidence and determination.

These students are taking an important step as they work toward earning the Seal of Biliteracy ahead of graduation in June. We’re so proud of their hard work and dedication.
