The genre of the book Fever: 1793 (by Laurie Halse Anderson) is historical fiction. This book is about a girl living with her siblings, her mom and her house maid. This girl’s name is Eliza. In town she goes to her grandfather’s shop every day. Then there is a flash something happens. Now there’s an illness. This illness is very harsh and people have high temperatures, vomiting, can barely move, or cannot eat. Unfortunately there is a depressing scene that people don’t like, to see happen to their loved ones. There is a great amount of stress because of this disease.
