March 31, 2020 Update from Superintendent Evangelist
March 31, 2020
Good Afternoon Golden Knights. As you are aware, Governor Cuomo has directed all the state’s school buildings to remain closed for an additional two weeks through April 15. Given this new guidance from Governor Cuomo and the New York State Education Department, schools will continue to provide and support students with remote instruction during the previously scheduled Spring Break Recess.
Our bagged breakfast and lunches will also continue to be available to all our students this closure, excluding Good Friday, April 10. Our device pick-ups will continue Wednesday and Thursday at the High School lobby. Please bring your own pen or pencil and respect social distancing of 6 feet.
If you are an essential employee and in need of childcare, please contact the Oneida-Herkimer-Madison Child Care Resource Center at 315-223-7850 extension 222 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We encourage all students to continue their learning while school buildings are closed, and for all families to stay home whenever possible. Providing continuity of learning and providing meals for our students remains a top priority of the Holland Patent Central School District. Thank you to our community for your continued support. We will get through this challenging time together. Stay safe.
