Students Get a Glimpse of College Life at OCC’s “Music Student for a Day"
On October 25, four members of the Tri-M Music Honor Society, accompanied by Mr. DePalma, attended Onondaga Community College’s (OCC) “Music Student for a Day” event.
Music Student for a Day provides prospective students with an "inside view" of college life as a music or sound recording major. Our Holland Patent students; Stephanie Clemens, Olivia Donovan, Lauren Favata and Aaron Lopez; attended classes, went on a tour of the OCC campus and music facilities, and attended a concert featuring current OCC students. Our students attended a Music Theory class run by Professor Robert Bridge, where he led the class through a chord analysis of a piece of music that the second-year students at OCC were working on.
You'll meet the professors and learn more about your next steps to join our talented group of music and sound recording students.
The students from Holland Patent enjoyed their visit; getting to meet the professors, listening to OCC’s great student musicians and learning more about the next steps to potentially join the talented group of music and sound recording students.
