Holland Patent Shines at OCMEA Elementary All-County Festival
On April 5-6, a select group of elementary students proudly represented Holland Patent at the 2025 Oneida County Music Educators’ Association (OCMEA) Elementary All County Festival at Sauquoit High School.
This special two-day event brought together top student musicians from across the county to perform in one of three prestigious ensembles: string orchestra, mixed chorus or concert band. Under the guidance of talented guest conductors, students had the opportunity to rehearse and perform challenging music while building teamwork, confidence and musicianship.
We are especially proud to share that our very own orchestra teacher, Mr. Shawn DePalma, served as the conductor for the Elementary All-County Orchestra—a tremendous honor and testament to his leadership and passion for music education!
Congratulations to all of our amazing student musicians for their dedication, hard work and outstanding performances. Your talent and enthusiasm truly represented our district with pride!
