My name is Emily M. I’m an 8th grader at Holland Patent Middle school. I have been a part of the newspaper since the very beginning. I typically write about news incorporated with school clubs, or just local news in general. I like the newspaper because I am able to write about subjects that I want to write about. I don’t have to write an essay for something that is not at all interesting to me. I’m involved with the yearbook committee, chorus, band, student council and honor society. I am a soprano in chorus and I play the trombone in band. I don’t play many sports during the school year but I’m hoping to change that. Outside of school, I do Kenpo
Karate and have played girls lacrosse for Holland Patent every summer for about 3 years now (this is my 4th year).
