Aladdin, the results are in!

Hey, it’s T-Bo, and I come to you with the main roles in the school’s production of Aladdin. Now you can read the paper instead of scrambling around asking students at random, “Are you in Aladdin?”. All right, I’ve stalled long enough, here we go.

Leading the group through magical and dangerous adventures all through Agrabah, is Chris B. as Aladdin. And standing by him (or usually in the palace with her father and the vizier) Jasmine, which will be played by Olivia B. Playing the part of the most sinister person to ever step foot in Agrabah, the grand vizier, Jafar! (He’s evil and super scary L ). This part will be played by Ethan E.

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, but actually it’s a bird. But, it’s not just any bird. It’s the parrot “with verbal skills that are off the charts” It’s Iago, which will be played by Chris S. Oh, and this next guy is a real nice guy. If you rub his lamp, he’ll give you wishes, like three of them. The character that I speak of is the all powerful mighty genie, and I have that role (see why I’m giving this guy so many compliments). And now for the ruler of Agrabah. The Sultan of all in the land,”and anything else that happens to be lying around.” This is a pretty big role, which will be played by Elijah W. Finally, we have the warden of the prison. The boss of all of the guards, “despite being dropped on his head as a baby,” Razoul! That role will be taken by Shawn Y.

I really like rehearsals. They are fun, and if the right people are there, it can be a little talkative, crazy, and funny. And some of the lines that the genie role has just cracks people up. But sometimes, things can get a little out of hand. This only happened a few times, but people would be laughing so hard they would be louder than somebody when they are saying a line.

I was able to get some other opinions on rehearsals. It’s the Sultan himself, Elijah W.!

A: Not to make anybody mad, but it would depend on the role.

I also got to interview one of my fellow newspaper club members, so here is one of the townspeople, MK.

Q: Why did you join Aladdin?

A: I wanted to redeem myself because last year I wanted to try, but I didn’t because I got the jitters.

A: I like to hear everybody say their lines and do the stage directions.

Q: What do you like about your role?

A: I get to sing in almost all the songs

Ok, I got good news and bad news. The good news is that I know what month in which the play will be performed, June. The bad news is, I don’t know the exact date, but you may know before the school year ends. Well, that pretty much raps it up for this one. This is T-Bo, signing off.
