    The Holland Patent Central School Pupil Personnel Services Department consists of a team of staff who are in an ideal position to protect the health and safety of all students. They are trained to evaluate factors that contribute to student difficulties with behavior and academic achievement.
     
    Personnel on this team include a social worker, school psychologists, school counselors, nurses, occupational and physical therapists, speech/language therapists and special education staff. The goal of the Pupil Personnel staff is to work closely with the faculty, staff, administrators and parents to ensure that all students can maximize their academic potential.
     
    The services provided by these highly trained professionals is not a substitute for supports provided by community agencies or in place of private practitioner services for diagnosis and treatment, and/or long term counseling.
