I am the American Sign Language teacher for Holland Patent, New York Mills, Waterville and Oriskany schools. I teach ASL 1-3.This is my 15th year teaching at Holland Patent!
Students who take ASL usually find it interesting because many of the people in our communities inside of NY state are native ASL users. NY state has three schools for the Deaf and one of them is in Rome making ASL a common sighting in our community. Students often use ASL at their part time jobs and sometimes at sporting events. I have enjoyed working with students from Holland Patent and I look forward to meeting future students.
