    Summer 2022

    Dear Third Grader:


    Welcome to Third Grade! We hope you are just as excited about this coming school year as we are! In third grade, we will be doing many new and fun things. Below you will find a supply list to set you up for success!


     Please make sure that all items are labeled with your name to help keep things organized.
    *Please remember to replenish supplies throughout the year. As you catch these items on sale, it’s a good idea to stock up for the remainder of the year (pencils, scissors, crayons, glue, etc.)*

     

    In order to prepare yourself for a good school year, please review your addition and subtraction facts. Read books by your favorite authors and keep a journal of things you are doing this summer. Check out our websites (www.hpschools.org, click on Holland Patent Elementary, then Classrooms, Third grade, and your teacher’s name) for some great book and activity suggestions and to learn more about us and our classroom!
     

    1 package pre-sharpened pencils

    1 red plastic folder

    1 yellow 3-subject wide-ruled notebook

    1 purple 3-subject wide-ruled notebook

    2 packs of 3x3 Post-It notes (about 400 sheets total)

    1 large zipper pencil pouch

    8 thin black expo markers

    1 24pk crayons

    2 large glue sticks

    1 pair of scissors

    1 box tissues

     

    Optional but helpful - 1 deck of multiplication cards
