I have an amazing family that are very supportive of the work I do. My husband Everett and I have been married for 23 years and have 3 wonderful daughters, whom have all attended Holland Patent Schools . Paige, who loves to play the piano and soccer, just graduated and will be attending Siena College studying biology on a pre-dental track. Makenzie is into playing all sports, but especially loves soccer and basketball. She is 14 years old and in 9th grade. Our oldest daughter, Carlie, is 20 years old and is in her 3rd year at SUNY Geneseo studying Biology with a pre-optometry track. In our spare time, we like to travel (especially to Disney), spend time at our camp in the 1000 Islands, watch our daughters play sports and just being together with our family. We have two French Bulldogs named Carmella and Nala.
A little bit about me: I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from SUNY Oneonta and a Master's Degree from SUNY Cortland. I taught first grade at HPE for one year in 1996 and fourth grade for 3 years in the Utica City School District before taking a leave of absence to raise my children. In 2009 I began teaching again, taking several long term positions with Holland Patent and Remsen School Districts. I became a full-time teacher in January 2014 teaching 5th grade at GWF.
