Since I will be spending countless hours with your child this year, I wanted to tell you a little about myself. My name is Ashley Marlenga. I grew up in Utica, New York and I am a graduate of Notre Dame Jr./Sr. High School. In 2006, I graduated from Utica College with my Bachelors of Science in Teaching for Elementary Education. I earned my Masters of Science Degree at Walden University with my concentration in both Reading and Mathematics. I taught in the Utica City School District for three years, teaching both kindergarten and fifth grade. I also was a teaching assistant for a year and taught AIS, which I had students within every grade level. This is my fourth year teaching second grade in the Holland Patent School District. I, currently reside in Utica with my husband and my dog. I also waitress at Friendly’s Restaurant!
