Mrs. Hovey
Hello Families and Students,
I am Mrs. Hovey, Special Educator at General William Floyd. This is my sixth year at Holland Patent, I came here from Canton, New York, where I taught first grade. I am from Union Springs, NY, in the Finger Lakes.
My husband and I live in Barneveld with our two daughters, Ann and Alexandra and our rescue dog Olive.
I am very close to my family, we spend most weekends together, visiting and cooking (and eating! I have a brother who lives in Ellisburgh with his two dogs (we are a dog family!) and a sister who is also a teacher, she lives in Queensbury, NY. Her and her husband have two great kids, Carter and Emilia, so I am an aunt!
I love teaching, my favorite subjects to teach are ELA and Math! I enjoy playing with my daughters, traveling, reading, hiking with my family, cooking and watching Syracuse Football and Basketball.
