  • virtual author visit

HPE students had the opportunity to visit with Elana K Arnold, the author of A Boy Called Bat, a funny and heartfelt first book in a trilogy about a young boy on the autism spectrum. Asking questions they carefully penned before the Skype event, students learned more about the writing process, creating characters, the author's family and her love of animals!

Ms. Arnold, an award winning author of young adult novels and children's books, also provided advice for becoming a writer and gave clues about her upcoming novel.
