• Circulation Policies:

    Students are allowed to borrow books for a 3-week loan period. Magazines can be borrowed overnight. Faculty is allowed to borrow materials on an extended basis in order to fulfill instructional needs. Interlibrary loan is available, which means we can get just about anything you need! 

    Students have access to AV materials, including audiobooks, devices to play audiobooks, Kindles, Nooks, a charging station for their devices, and iPads and iPods (which are only for use in the library). 

    All users are responsible for returning borrowed materials. Library staff will make every effort to notify users of overdue materials so that they may be returned. Library users are responsible for the replacement costs of lost or damaged materials.  Please treat shared items and space with respect.

    Download, complete, and submit this permission slip to Mrs. Hiffa or Mrs. Horwat for the ability to borrow a Nook or Kindle for 2 week loaning periods.  You can get your own Kindle or Nook account through Amazon or Barnes and Noble and then use our device to read books you purchase or download OR you can borrow e-books (for free) from the Midyork Public Library system.  All you need is a library card from any public library in the Midyork system.  OR, I can download one e-book for you from Midyork if you do not have the ability to get a library card.
